1962 Cushman Silver Eagle

Selling my 1962 Silver Eagle with factory electric start. OMC 9 hp.
I bought this a few years ago from an old guy. He kept it original and it was in good shape when I purchased it. He did change out the speedometer. The new speedometer has about 675 miles on it. I wanted to preserve this bike but I did make a few changes for safety and performance.

• I replaced the originalcarburetor with a Carpenter exact replica. It starts and runs like a charm. When it sits for several months in the winter, t still starts right up after choking and turning the throttle a few times. Starts better than any older bike I've owned.
• I replaced the original tires/rims with chrome rims and Michelin tires. The new tires have about 400 miles on them.
• I had the engine gaskets all replaced.

It's not a trailer queen but with new paint and detail work, t could be. I'd call it a reliable daily rider in great shape. It is stored in a garage 100% of the time. You'll find factory upgrades throughout including the gold accent trim.
From the pictures, pointed out a little paint chip up by the speedometer as well as small scratches down by the front fork. They aren't highly noticeable but I wanted to make sure the buyer knew about them ahead of time. The paint on the dash plate and gas tank are showing sign of wear but it hasn't chipped away.
The electric start works perfectly. The headlights and brake lights work. The seat and buddy seat are in perfect shape too.
I'm very happy with it but don't seem to have the time to pull it out of my garage as much as i like.
