Description

This Custom Daytec Bagger was built by DayTec owner. Phil Day as his personal bike. Nothing but the best parts were used for this build. Phil's vision was for an all around user friendly. over the road/ in town. motorcycle. That idea was executed perfectly with this motorcycle. Starting from the ground up a DayTec FXR/ Drag Style rubber mounted frame with 34 degrees of rake. but no stretch. Up front sports some Custom Cycle Engineering narrow glide trees. holding on to a set of 39mm Dyna forks with a 19 inch RevTech Wheel. The back received a set of Progressive Suspension Shocks. and a 160 rear footprint with a 16x4 matching RevTech wheel. Many Screamin' Eagle components were used throughout this build including Floating rotors squeezed by GMA four piston calipers.   Powering the bike is a TP Engineering 100-cubic-inched (with only 300 miles on it). Cases. flywheel. rods. pistons. heads and cylinders are all American made at the TP facility. Keeping the motor breathing is a 42mm Mikuni. Crane ignition system. and a Vance and Hines 2-into-1 pipe. A RevTech six-speed (also 300 miles) is used to let the engine purr at 90 mph at 3. 00 rpm in 6th. The two are joined with a Rivera Pro Clutch and a Harley chain. Cycle Smith T-style bars and Daytec seat make for a comfortable ride. and the Autometer gauges keep you in check on those long straights. The custom fairing came straight from Daytec. as well as the one piece stretched gas tank. The rear is completely custom. one off. fender/ bags combo. Paul Yaffe lights were used as well as Lazer Star turn signals. This is one of the cleanest/ most user friendly baggers built. Pictures do not do this bike justice! You will not be disappointed.
