This custom cafe racer motorcycle is currently based on the Big Island of Hawaii and it cost me $750 to ship it from LA out here. $250 of that was the cost of the steel crate it came in. I will give you the steel create for free with the motorcycle, ut it will likely cost at least $500 to get it to LA and (it took 3 weeks). I was very happy with the shipping company that got it out here and will give you their contact information.
Details on the motorcycle:
I'm selling my custom cafe racer Yamaha XT600cc, -Speed, ike. It was completely restored from the bare frame based on a 1984 Yamaha 4 valve 600cc XT600 single cylinder. It's super agile handling with 50+ mpg, mooth 85-90 highway cruise speed, -60 mph in 3 seconds with 120 mph top end speed. New sprockets and chain, eared for higher top speed with a relaxed cruise and awesome acceleration due to it's light weight. Starts with one kick or two kicks, dles perfectly smooth. Quiet engine at medium throttle and good rasp at full throttle. Tons of power to get up the big mountains on the island (or through traffic on the mainland).
This bike was built in LA by a custom bike builder and Ferrari mechanic. I shipped over my truck as well and was going to use this as my daily driver, ut because of the work I got here I need my truck as a daily driver so don't use this bike as much as I would like too. I'm only selling it because I don't like to see it sitting around. Motorcycles need to be used to stay in good condition. The bike has a clean and clear title, s licensed, afety checked (good through next March - is a Hawaii process), nd comes with a special certificate validating it's VIN number and stating it will always be a legal bike in the state of Hawaii. (It was one hell of a process getting this bike legal in this state... it took nearly two months to get it cleared by the department of transportation.)

This is what the bike looks like stripped down (without the fenders, he extra front lights and tail lights, nd the chain guard) I added all those elements because Hawaii requires them.
This shows the rear fender I put on that can be easily removed.
This showed the chain guard I made and added. it is held on by two screw brackets that can be easily removed.
Shows the front and side. With the front fender I added.
The front fender is held on by hose clamps but can be removed very easily and there is tape under the clamps so it didn't scratch the forks.
This is the one element of the bike I was disappointed to see when I got it. There is a small brown discoloration on the side/underside of the gas take by the carburetor. It is in the paint, ut doesn't seem to have changed since I got the bike.
There is a cool little leather pouch on the side for your insurance card, tc. etc. It is bolted on so very secure.
The bike runs very well. There are no engine issues, t shifts very smoothly, uns smoothly and has tons of power. A great bike.
A very cool element to this bike is that there are LED blinkers in the handlebars. They are faint unless in the total darkness, ut still a cool things.

Back view.
Front view.
These are the rear blinker lights I added. They are very bright and clear. I'm glad I added them. But, hey can be easily removed.
When I first got the bike there was zero rust anywhere on it. Being in the salty air in Hawaii a few minor things have shown up. A few of the spokes have started to show some rust. This can be brushed out.
The custom made seat feels good and was made well.
There are a couple non-stainless steel screws you would want to swap out, ut only a couple. Super easy change. Just want you to be able to see everything on the bike.
Another side view of it stripped down.
This is what it looks like in the steel crate it comes with. It fits into the back of a Tacoma and you'll only need two guys to lift it in and out and move it around in the crate.
A rear view shot of it in the crate.
