1982 Yamaha Virago 750. Nice bike with a lot of new parts. Turn key go. Ready to ride. Comes with clear Texas title and signed Bill of Sale. A real looker, tarting with Ghetto Gold heavy metal flake on gas tank. Coke bottle red metal flake grips, ew starter, ew throttle housing, ew throttle cable, ew clutch cable. Vintage high/low beam headlight with yellow tint. Right behind the headlight are three toggle switches that work the horn, igh/low beam, nd electric starter. On/off key is positioned right behind that. Black leather front fork bag. Very nice. Has a small separate compartment for anything of importance, nd a larger area to store other items.
New fork gaiters, ew Duro tires front and back, ew vintage red spark plug wires with caps. Bike is running Split Fire Bosch plugs. Has vintage Triumph-style air cleaner. New solo seat, ew tail light with bobber-style plate mount. Bike has had a complete service with all new carb components. New battery. Safe to say there are a lot of new parts. Gas tank logo is vinyl. It is applied on top of clear coat. Can easily be removed if you have another preference.
Runs very good. Has a very nice, omfortable seating position. Bike sits low, or just about any rider. Has plenty of off-the-light power. Makes the perfect cruiser. Bike comes with a few extra parts. I had purchased a new black mini speedo with cable and, lso, wo small black bar end mirrors. I could not decide if I had wanted the mirrors on at the time of listing, nd I could not decide where I wanted to mount the speedo. If winning bidder would like those installed, will gladly do that. Just describe location for the speedo, nd the mirrors are mounted at the end of the bars.
Winning bidder has 30 days to arrange pick-up. If new owner needs more time, lease contact us. We will easily work something out. Bike will be stored safely indoors.
Yamaha Viragos are getting to be popular bikes. They're well made, asy to work on, nd very reliable. But they do have noisy starter drives. It's not the starter itself, t's actually a pair of idler gears that always function, ut they make an engaging noise when activated. Easy to look up. I even had a Venture Royale that would do it from time to time. Sometimes they won't, ometimes they will.
