Custom Yamaha XS400 Bobber Motorcycle

This is a fully custom 1982 Yamaha XS400 bobber. The frame has been modified to make a more classic bobber look while maintaining the rear suspension for a softer ride. The pipes are custom made and sound great. Pipes are wrapped with black weaved ceramic wraps. The original airbox and fusebox have been replaced with custom units and k&n filters to free up space under the seat for the classic bobber look, ll of the bikes original features are still functional, owever. The front and rear signals have been modified to small LED lights along with a custom LED indicator light set below the speedometer. The battery is smaller, ut reliably holds a charge and runs the electric starter well. Front and rear wheels have been re-spoked to allow the larger 'old-style' wheels which are now the same size front and back. The gas tank is a custom 'sportster' style. The paint is custom with the wheels and fenders painted to match the tank (Both metallic dark brown), verything else is gloss black. The pipes and fins are coated in high temperature enamel. The seat is a custom made saddle style with an anchor tooled into the leather. The bike runs well, tarts on the first try, nd has been nothing but reliable for the two years since the project was completed.
