1980 Suzuki GS550/630 Custom Motorcycle by Number 8 Wire Motorcycles

The 1980 Suzuki GS550 is for sale! This is an in-house restoration/modification build by Number 8 Wire Motorcycles of Missoul, ontana. Our work has been featured on Silodrome, ipeburn and at this year's The One Moto Show in Portland, regon.

The engine saw numerous upgrades and replacements including bearings, hift forks, ll gaskets and oil seals, am chain, Dynoman Performance 630cc Big bore piston kit, ncreasing compression to 10.5:1. In addition to this a Dynatek 'Dyna 2000' full digital ignition has been fitted along with Dynatek coils. The Carburettors have been replaced with Keihin CR racing carbs and are jetted for the Uni foam pod filters and the modified exhaust at 300ft. I can estimate jeting for the buyer's elevation but re-jetting may need to be done locally. Other features include, ew brake and clutch levers, raided brake lines, otobatt AGM battery, enda tubeless tires, ftermarket lights all around,a custom tail loop and seat, iltwell Kung Fu grips, ew handlebars, tc etc.

A new wiring harness was made in house along with custom side panels, eat and numerous brackets. Hagon Shocks have been fitted to the rear and progressive springs installed into the front to improve ride quality and handling. The engine was painted in house piece-by-piece using Bill Hirsch Engine Enamel, he frame, heels and brackets were powder-coated and the side panels and tank painted professionally by a paint shop here in Missoula. All mileage since the rebuild is break in and tuning miles (to make sure it is ready to go for you, he buyer. The original bike had 17,000 miles on it.

The motorcycle is titled in the state of Montana and currently does not conform to any emissions standards.
