VF500 Interceptor 1984

Built by Craig Rodsmith of Rodsmith Motorcycles. This Interceptor was featured at the 2016 Mama Tried Show in Milwaukee, i. Several publications have written about Craigs work including this masterpiece. Links are below. Typical of most of his work this interceptor includes handformed tank, ail piece, elly pan and many other hand fabricated one off unique parts.

°Continental motion tyres 160/60/17 rear and 11/60/17 front

°All aluminium body work and fittings polished

°Modified rear frame section

°Deerskin leather seat and inlay

°Seat sewn by JB seats

°Handmade headlight and intergrated gauges

°Powdercoating stripped from the engine,bare aluminium and polished

°Freshened up engine and rebuilt carbs

°Restored 80s vintage Yoshimura aluminium mufflers

°Engine air intake through the tank

°Nickel plated coolant tubes,suspension brackets,sprocket etc

°Stainless fasteners throughout

°CBR F2 wheels,forks and brakes

°Modified F1 hurricane rearsets
