1962 Harley Davidson Pan Shovel Chopper

I am offering for auction my 1962 Harley Davidson Pan/Shovel hardtail chopper. I purchased this bike as a rat bike and completely rebuilt it. The engine is a big bearing Panhead lower unit with a shovel top end. The cases, lywheels, ylinders, eads, appet blocks and some of the hardware are original. Everything else in the engine is new. All engine parts are S&S or Jims. The engine was completely torn down and rebuilt by Mike Stocum at Rochester Custom Cycle. Mike is a well know early model Harley Engine mechanic in our area. Other components used include Mallory Electronic Ignition, &S Oil Pump, &S Super E Carb with S&S/K&N Air Cleaner assembly. I have about $5K in the motor. The transmission is a 1946 Harley Ratchet Top 4 speed that had a $700 rebuild in 2005. It has a very small leak, ut works perfectly. The bike is hand shift with a rocker foot clutch.The frame is a late fifties Harley Wishbone that has been blended. The front end is a 2" over wide glide purchased and installed by the previous owner in '06. I have owned the bike since '08. New paint on everything except the tank. The tank was painted and signed by Don Whipple so I kept it in tact even though it has a couple of minor flaws. Don has won awards for his paint jobs such as Best Paint at the 23rd All Harley Motorcycle Show in Redding California. The saddle bag was custom made for me to match the custom seat.This bike runs great and is allot of fun to ride. The rebuild has 590 miles on it. I have other bikes and just don't use this one enough to justify keeping it.I do not really want to deal with shipping and I am looking for a cash transaction, ut I am willing to work with the shipping company on this end if you make the arrangements for crating and pickup and can get cash to me..I hope you like it enough to bid on it and good luck.
