Description
There is no speedometer, o mileage is an estimate. Michael rode the bike one way to the Biker Build Off which is about 1500 miles. I put on about 200 miles so my estimate is less than 2000 miles total.It starts and runs every time you ride it.
TECHNICAL DETAILS It is a 6 up 4 out 43 degree chopper with a ten over Fred Frame Springer. Fred also made the frame which was totally customized for the Build-Off by Michael. STD 96 cubic inch Pan head with custom engraved covers
Baker 6 speed with N Drum (neutral is at the “end” of the pattern)Electric and Kick Start. It has a Magneto and the battery is only required to run the electric starter and Pneumatic seat, o if the battery goes dead you can kick it.... it actually starts pretty easy for a 96 Cubic Inch engine.
Pneumatic Seat Adjustment
Black Bike – wheels, procket and brake. Some Bill Wall pieces on the Seat and Small Skulls on Fender Tay from Laguna did the engraving on the rocker boxes. The rest was handmade. All the small parts and controls came out of Evilspirit’s fab shop… Gas/Oil Tank, id Controls Handle Bars Pipes Shift Lever Fender… to much to list, ust check out the pics. I added the “8 ball” mirror.I just put in a new Anti-Gravity Lithium Battery which weighs a mere 1.4 lbs. and spins the 96" pan like it is nothing.
This bike was built to go… she runs amazing, orners excellent and eats up the road on a long haul with ease. This is a performance chopper for sure. Michael set the pace on the ride to Texas and had no problems. Not many show bikes can “let it rip”. It comes with the original clear CA title signed by Michael Barrigan.It is "priced to sell" at less than half of what it would cost to recreate this bike.
A $500 Non-Refundable deposit is required within one day of the end of the Auction by PayPal. The balance is due within 7 days and is payable by wire transfer or CASH on Pickup ONLY. Sorry I have had “fake” bank checks.
“Diablo Negro” was the Discovery Channel Build-Off Bike. Built in December 2006 by Michael Barrigan of Evilspirit Engineering. This bike went up against Chica’s bike “Captain Japan”. As part of the Biker Build-Off it was ridden from Burbank CA to Texas.
This is a TRUE CUSTOM bike, o expense was spared in the assembly of this bike. It has been in countless Magazines and won many shows. It is a true “piece of art”. Every time I look at it I see something I did not notice before…. Amazing. Just check out the details in the pictures.
