1980 vw trike Auto stick tranny, new 1 4 cam 1600 cc engine

This trike was Built by a VW Garage from the ground up. Engine is a 1600 with a 1/4 race cam. It sounds nice and is very, ery fast. The transmission equipped with a torque converter, llowing the car to idle in gear, ike an automatic. You put it in gear you want to drive in and you can stop and go with out having to clutch. The torque converter was operated by transmission fluid. This would allow the car to stop in any gear and start from a standing stop in any gear.
It has only around 750 miles. the valve have just been set and oil changed. It has new tires all around and the back tires are from walmart and have lifetime balance.. I just got back from a 200 plus mile trip just before storing for winter. Ran around 70 miles an hour and it ran great. I still had a lot of throttle left. 25 miles a gallon. The tank is off a Harley. it only hold 2 gallons plus a reserve. It is a old school looking trike. Someone called it a Rat trike.I bought this for the summer while I was getting my other trike ready for the road and now its done. SO I am ready to sell. You will not find a nicer trike for the money. The title is clear and ready to go. "the gas tank needs a cover down the middle. I was going to put a piece of leather over it. The seat is a old 50's Harley seat and looks good but has the orginal cover. looks good for the age but to be nice you should recover. I added a way to move it forward for shorter people. I am 6 foot 5 and it fits me, y wife is 5 ft 8 inch and it can be fixed to fit her. I am very happy with it . I have the right to stop early because it is listed locally."
