About the bike?
Up for auction is a custom built Harley-Davidson from Rössel Customs. Newly finished in July of 2016. Built from a 1993XL 1200cc 5-speed Evo Sportster. Bike has been fully customized and modified retaining the original VIN Matching frame and engine numbers 1HD1CAP16PY215246. It has an open title. This is an old school vintage style rigid/hard tail bobber finished like an old hot rod. It’s mean and lean. A 19” front wheel and 16” rear with stainless steel spokes. It has front and reardisc brakes. Bike is chain drive. Everything on this bike was either hand fabricated, eplaced with new or completely refinished in our shop. Everything on this bike has been powder coated including all tin work (Gas tank, ender, il tank). Bike is accented with stainless steel and gloss black and metallic brushed nickel powder coating. Engine, ases and covers with contrasting powder. ARössel Customs signature deep tunnelhand customized king gas tank with drop in side panels gives this bike a classic, intage look. The tank alone is a work of art as this isnota factory stamped dent in a tank but a handmade one of a kind - so you wont be parked next to anything like it. The exhaust was hand fabricated to follow the contours of the bike and are heat wrapped and sound amazing.Wiring harness is custom and wiring schematic included with bike. New Ballistic Evo 2 mini Hi-performance dry battery (80% smaller & 10 lbs lighter than stock). Bike had 43,775 miles on engine before build. About 100 miles after build for test ride/shake down runs.The bike has custom made handle bars powder coated gloss black and is set up with LED low profile front directionals. A custom set up LED rear brake/directionals tail light is mounted under rear fender. It has bar end mirrors and a plate bracket with plate light. Much effort went into making this bike street legal and ready to ride while keeping the minimal, tripped down look.Thisis a unique hard tail retaining the soul and history of the original motorcycle with a rideable, leaner, ighter custom with many upgrades from stock. Everything on this bike was done in house in our shop to our specifications including all fabrication, heel lacing and powder coating. No attention to detail was spared. We try and powder coat as much of our bikes as possible for durability and longevity. Stainless spokes and stainless hardware (where applicable) as well, ecause we feel you should spend more time riding the bike and not cleaning or polishing chrome. Photos do not do this bike justice. The level of detail and the sparkle of the metallic brushed nickel and stardust metallic powder coating is amazing. Show quality look of a high end paint with the durability of powder coating. This is a four stage powder coat process on all tin that includes wet sanding and buffing in between each stage to give shine and depth to the finish and bring out the metallic accents. - Front tire? 19” Bridgestone Battlax BT45 100/90-19 tire, ew tube and rim strip. Rim and hub powder coated gloss black. Laced & trued with new stainless steel spokes. New spacers, earings and seals.
- Rear tire? 16” Bridgestone Battlax BT45 130/90-16 tire, ew tube and rim strip. New rim and hub powder coated gloss black. Laced & trued with new stainless steel spokes. New axel, pacers, earings and seals.
Brakes?
- Front? Brake caliper, owder coated gloss black with and new ebc brake pads. New polished stainless steel disc. New black coated braided stainless steel Goodridge brake lines. New master cylinder, owder coated gloss black.
- Rear? ModernTriumph caliper with stock brake pads and new bolts, owder coated gloss black. New polished stainless steel disc. New black coated braided stainless steel Goodridge brake lines. New fittings. Custom mounted modern Triumph master cylinder, owder coated gloss black.
Drive?

Fuel system?
- Rössel Customs signature recessed side, ing gas tank powder coated stardust metallic gloss black with white powder coated side panel inserts with pinstriping. Under tank custom rubber mount system with high tunnel horizontal mount set up. New Golan, lack, i-flow, lick-slick petcock and new DS gas cap powder coated to match tank. Tank interior sealed for corrosion protection.
- Custom air cleaner assembly with new K&N air filter.

This bike became known as ‘Old 93' somewhere during the build. About the builders? Rössel customs is comprised of 'The LeBlanc Brothers'. Brian and Karl, rew up in a small coastal town in New England full of rough and tumble characters "fisherman, armers and factory worker" types. They spent their formative years playing in bands and riding motorcycles.Between them they have lived all over including: Rhode Island, aine, ew Hampshire, rizona, YC, ustralia and now both currently reside in Florida. From hitting the races at Loudon or thedirt track Sundays at the local flat tracks the boys have been into bikes since they were young. Between them, heir years of riding experience are incorporated into the designs of the bikes. Everything from riding hard on the streets of NYC on old antiquated machines to building and racing vintage race bikes to road trips overthe amazing roads around Australia - these boys have lived motorcycles. Rössel customs came about when Brian after graduating from MMI and working in dealerships on multiple brands, ears of owning his own shops and some stretches as an instructor at both MMI and Wyotech and Karl who had just moved back to the States from overseas started a hard tail rebuild on an old Iron Head he had for over 20 years. They were soon thinking this is too cool, e have to build more of these for other people. With 30 years in the motorcycle industry the manifesto is? taking cool vintage motorcycles and making them as modern as possible while retaining the history and soul of the old bikes. To actually, ake the bikes look older but perform better. Two guys who have been riding, acing, epairing and building all types of motorcycles for over 30 years with an affinity for old Harleys, riumphs, afe racers, lat track and simple retro and race inspired Styling.
