Description

Up for sale/auction is my latest replica of a vintage Indian board track racer from the early 1900's. I used a 1919 model for inspiration for this build.  As with all of my builds I've been "test" riding her around town for the past few day. and she runs and rides Perfectly ! The "barn find" finish give this bikes that great nostalgic feeling one would expect from the bikes of that era. All defects. nicks. scratches. runs in paint. "rusty" parts. and distressed hand laid gold leaf logos are purposelessly done to give the bike an antique look and feel. These bikes are crafted with completely NEW parts that are only finished to look old and worn. Each bike is a one off build ! With fantastic MPG's from the 80cc 2 stroke motor. the joy of riding to the corner store or all the way across town is up to you. The extremely simplistic motor is virtually maintenance free! Simply make sure she has fuel and go. The great thing about this Moped style set up is that when you don't want to use the motor. bike functions just like an ordinary bicycle. and can go anywhere you wish to peddle it. When using the motor bike can reach speeds up to around 35mph. and with around 80 MPG the fun seemingly goes on forever. Many of the OTHER board track replicas you'll find on the market today have false fuel tanks. with a very small actual fuel sell only holding round 12-16 oz of fuel. Which is fine if you plan to use bike strictly as a display. However we pride ourselves in building our bikes not only to be eye catchers but also to be completely functional. and usable day after day. You will find that all of our fuel tank are hand crafted for each individual build. Building each tank by hand not only gives each bike a functional fuel tank. but also allows us to more accurately replicate the style of tank for each individual motif. Depending on the style. each one of our tanks hold at least 1 US Gallon. giving the rider a riding range under motor power of around 80 miles per tank. So many people from different walks of life all seam to have a common draw to the timeless look and feel of these bikes. Many people like to ask questions and take a few photos. never a dull moment riding one of these around town !!!  As much fun as they are to ride around town. they are just as fantastic as a functional art peace for an office. den. or as that attention grabbing conversation peace for your/his man cave. They are also fantastic for promotional events or as an eye grabber for a store front. Have had a few customers order builds to be used as "PIT" bikes on track days. and other customers have ordered a few for RVing around the country. What more fun and unique way can you think of to get around the pits and camp grounds. These fun one of a kind bikes can truly go anywhere and everywhere. and are sure to turn heads wherever they go.                                   Over the past few years. I have built quite a few of these replicas with many different Motifs. (Indian. Harley Davidson. Excelsior and Flying Merkel). However. I have and can also build bikes in this style with your business logo. or company name. to be used for promotional purposes. (Advertizing IS Tax Deductible after all).   If your interested in ordering a custom built replica. built to your exact specifications. feel free to contact me with any inquiries. The majority of my builds are built to order. The few I sell here on ebay are just those that I've built between orders. When ordering a bike built to your sepcs. you will have complete control over the Motif. color. logo. wheels. tires. # plates. finishes. exct. In this day and age of mass produced. cookie cutter products. its truly an exciting interactive process to have full control over a hand built one off custom project.   I am centrally located in the US being just outside of Chicago IL. therefore shipping costs are relatively the same no matter where it is to be shipped in the lower 48. usually costing between $250-$300. Bike can be shipped in a few different way. 1) It can be crated in a bike shipping crate and sent Via FedEx.   2) It could be shipped though a vehicle/motorcycle shipping company. Side Notes. - Dont let the Runs on the tank fool you; Tank does NOT leak !!! It is simply part of the finish I added to give it a realistic look of a 100 yrs of accidental fuel spills. Tank has been pressure tested and also sealed with a fuel tank sealer product called Red-Kote. for extra protection against internal rusting over time.   - This bike will also come with a display stand that is NOT shown with the bike in the uploaded photos. But is exactly the same as the stand seen on the #7 Indian bike shown. - I have added 4 extra pics of my previously built/sold bikes just for reference. and also to show the different tank designs for the different models.   - I also apologize for the blowout/glare from the sunlight in a few of the photos. I am by NO means a photography expert. just doing my best to show all the details.  After all I can not complain about a blue bird sky day in October here in the midwest !!! But if you look closely at the pics from different lines you will be sure to seeall the details in the barn find finish.      -Photos were taken on 10-11-14 and represent the bike as it sits ready to ship to its new home and owner.  Thank you for looking. and good luck in the auction.
