1961 Harley Davidson Shovelhead

I purchased this vehicle as a basket case and built it form the frame up. The frame. swing arm. fender struts. ocker boxes. brake pedal. kickstand. outer primary cover battery tray lower legs. triple trees are all powder coated black. the calipers. dash. oil tank are some shade of red powder coat. the tins are all flat black. New drag pipes with an inner coating to prevent blueing. new Paughco ape hangers. mid west Chrome controls. new front tire. the back has many miles left on it. The swing arm has new bearings races and seals. the lower legs where completely redone. belt drive primary. new chain final drive. New starter and solonoid and voltage regulator and jack shaft and starter housing. The engine cases were not split. The cylinders were bored 10 over with new pistons and rings. the heads were taken down and run through the blast cabinet. the valves were lapped into place and they were put back together. The rocker boxes have the Sifton wafer bearing kit installed to take up end play of the rocker arms. The tanks are OEM not after market. new petcock fuel lines oil lines. The Keihen carb was rebuilt. one of the items that still needs some attention. as well as a slight oil leak which I believe to be an oil pump gasket. I'm sure i'm missing some details here. so please ask questions. I have pictures of the bike in all stages of the build. probable about 60 of them. so I can email them to you.
