What we have for sale here. folks. is an early motorcycle inspired build. Have you always wanted an antique motorcycle but couldn't afford to spend tens-of thousands to own one? Well here's a chance to own a similar beast. at a fraction of the cost! Besides. you don't want to take a chance riding a rare and authentic antique bike! This is a ride-able piece of artwork. handcrafted in the "Flying Feet Autocycles" shop (which is currently in my living room. ) Below. a description is provided to best illustrate what you are bidding on:This is a full-functioning motorbike. and will reach speeds of 35 to 40 miles per hour. depending on the rider and terrain. There are quite a few people making these bikes. this bike was hand-made by myself and I will continue to create them. so if you don't win this auction there will be more down the road!Note These Features:Serial #0001. scoop up the first of many builds while you can!Brand new Imported 66 cubic centimeter (80cc by European standards) 2-cycle. single cylinder engine. producing 3 Horse Power. High quality Japanese ball bearings. intake and exhaust ports have been deburred and cleaned. exhaust port has been polished to reduce carbon build-up. Upgraded hex hardware. Rubber-lined engine mounts for minimal vibration and comfortable ride. Upgraded "Racing" carburetor. most other makes are sold with stock junk carburetor. this bike has been fitted with a higher quality carburetor that provides better performance and longevity. Will include a variety of jets for optimal tuning. High-flow air filter. Upgraded 41-tooth rear Sprocket. stock bikes are furnished with a slower 44-tooth count. High quality clear in-line fuel filter. and shut-off valve filter for optimal filtration of any foreign particles. High-flow short exhaust pipe header. built to look and sound like the old bikes but I can attach a muffler for an extra fee: contact for details if interested. 3/4 gallon all-steel fuel tank. fully functional and sealed with Red Kote. One full tank will provide rider with around 75 miles of non-stop travel before needing to re-fuel. Brass gas cap with vent hole. Heavy-duty 415 drive chain. This bike does not have a chain tension device installed. as it is not needed due to the installation of a half-link on the pedal chain. Tension is achieved by position of the rear wheel. Frame is made from 1" seamless steel tubing. and a modified vintage Schwinn frame. 24" vintage steel rims of the "Schwinn Tubular" type. with very nice original patina and pin-striping. Front hub is of the spindle type. rear hub is a vintage New Departure Coaster Brake hub. 1-3/4" biased-ply tires for optimal grip on a variety of terrains. Tires and tubes are near-new with around 100 miles on them. Brazed rear dropouts. not stamped/tacked like those used by cheap bicycle manufacturers. Rigid front fork-truss for added stability. Attractive hand-made all brass mounting brackets for gasoline tank. and cable brackets as well. Beautifully adorned with etched stars. Comfortable spring-suspension riding saddle. adjustable for practicality. Nice black rubber grips. knobbed for better grip. Vintage cloth loom covering ignition wire. All Schwinn brand ball bearings throughout the bike have been refurbished and freshly greased. Hand-lettered and painted "Flying Feet" logo on tank. The bike has been painted and distressed to look like an old barn-find racer that had been used and forgotten about. but is in very good shape with new welds. paint. hardware and engine. Would look great in a museum or on display in a shop or storefront. Shortened fender for sporty look. Engine has been broken-in on a fuel-to-oil mixture ratio of 16:1. It is recommended that the owner operate the cycle on a mixture ratio of 25:1 for assured lubrication and performance. Design inspired by early board track/dirt track/flat track motorcycles from the turn of the century on up to the mid 20's.
