Selling my 2007 Twisted Chopper. Titled as a 2007 due to MSO (Manufacturer's Statement of Origin) of frame from Twisted Choppers (These guys are pretty well known for winning Biker Build Off). Bike was built on the island of Oahu. Hawaii by Kustom Fab and finished in September 2011. The guys at Kustom Fab build around four bikes per year and they range in price from $30. 00 to $70. 00 when sold. They built this bike for me as a customer. These guys won the Hawaii Biker Build Off as well as numerous other honors. Since I was on regular deployments they built about 90% of this bike for me while I was gone overseas. I brought the bike to them as a rolling chassis. I brought them the bike in the condition that you can see (in some of the pictures that I provided). Basically primer gray and mocked up with all brackets tack welded into place. It took about 1 1/2 years to finish the bike and cost me over $19. 00. 00 to build it. As a matter of fact I have all the receipts totaling $19. 07. 95. Since I was on an island and deployed a lot I didn't get to drive it that much. And also the fact that the island isn't that big. After I finished the bike I had around 4 months until I got out of the Navy. Within three months of getting out of the Navy my Wife got pregnant. So after our first kid was right at seven months old we found out we were going to have another kid. Needless to say. with the transition out of the military. buying a new house. starting a new job and having two new kids I haven't had time to ride the bike. It. along with a 1929 Ford Roadster that I just sold basically sat in my one car garage for the last two years. Take a look at the picture of the Odometer and the miles on the bike. Right at 280. 4 miles on the bike. Everything on this bike is brand new and functions perfectly. PROS: Brand New Everything! Only 280 miles on the bike! CONS: Light oxidation on aluminum. Will be fully polished prior to shipment to winning bidder. Only included two pictures but will post more later. I was in a rush to put this ad up. Trust me. if you are thinking about building your own bike I understand the reason but in the long run it is not worth the hassle. Buying a complete bike is so much cheaper than building one. Just as I do right now. you will feel sick when several years pass and you need to sell it for whatever reason and you don't get anything near to what you put into it. If you are on a budget or just want to use some financial common sense then bidding on this bike (if you like it) is the right move. I will include all receipts with the bike and the title of course. Look up some of the prices of a rolling chassis with motor on ebay. they are going from around $5K-$10K with nothing else. Some basic parts and features of the bike include a…fully polished and rebuilt 2003 Buell XB9R Firebolt engine/trans…wiring ran through the frame…billet switches…billet forward controls…gold leaf inlay and pin striping on tank…leather saddle seat w/ matching suction cup seat for passenger…brand new tires…stainless steel braided fuel lines and oil lines…S&S Super E Carburetor…Velocity stack breather…Dyna Ignition…etc. I literally have pages full of parts that I could keep listing. This just gives you a good idea that the bike is very nice and well built. I'm selling not because I don't like it anymore but simply the same reason I sold my 29 Ford. I have bills from having kids and a minivan I have to pay off. Yes. I sold my 29 Ford and I'm selling this chopper to pay off a minivan. I don't really like it either but this will help my family and they are more important. I have experience shipping vehicles and setting up that process so no worries if you live far away from Charleston. SC. If not. then you can pick it up yourself. The motorcycle is owned free and clear without a lean. Title is in hand. Feel free to call me with any questions or concerns at 770-362-5380. I've included a fair "Buy It Now" price for those of you who want to skip the hassle and wait of the auction. I reserve the right to end auction early as I have the ad advertised locally.
