Derbi GPR50 Mallossi replica

For sale. Derbi Gpr 50 mallossi replica. bought for my son as a 16th birthday present. He had never ridden a geared motorcycle before and after an hour or two on the Britannia stadium car park he soon got the hang of it. shortly after that did his CBT and on the roads he went. He had about 7 months trouble free riding and then one day he had trouble getting it to start and when it finally did it was running very roughly. into our local bike shop it went where it was found to have had a mild top end seizure. so after a new cylinder bore and piston replacement back out on the road he went again for another few weeks when riding home one day the engine decided to give up again. So back into our local bike shop where a deeper engine investigation found that the crankshaft was damaged. so a full engine rebuild began with a new crankshaft. bearings. gaskets. yet another 50cc cylinder bore kit was fitted. racing clutch and clutch basket and of course spark plug air filter and Castrol engine oil. the carb was also reconditioned and re-jetted. After all that work and almost 800 pound spent its running and riding like a dream. starts first press of the button and really is a little flyer for a 50. Does have a full race exhaust on which sounds really lovely but not to loud. The only two things which let the bike down are the rev counter has stopped working. which I will try to get sorted for the new owner. nbsp;and my son unfortunately knocked the bike off the stand at our local bike shop and it slid on the left fairing for a short way down a slope. so it now has scrape marks on the left hand belly fairing. I will add a picture of this as soon as I can. it doesn't look to bad but I always like to be honest and up front about everything.  Also giving a disc lock with the sale too. at the moment the bike has no tax or m-o-t but I will put a full 12 months m-o-t on for the new owner. My son has loved owning this bike but he has now passed his car test. so his helmet and boots will also be added to the sale of the bike if the new owner can make use of them. /p>

A very good clean example of a derbi gpr 50. with 11000 miles on the clock having had lots of money spent on it. /p>
