Derbi senda sm

Hi. Welcolme to my auction of this Derbi Senda SMI took this moped in as a part exchange in a non running state. Apart from a few scrapes and scratches it appeared quite reasonable and straight. It stands very tall for a 50cc and would suggest it may be hard to ride if your short. It needs a little bit of TLC I have had my mechanic fit a new barrel and piston as the old ones had broken rings. it now fires up first or second kick and runs well. It also has had a new thermostat whilst it was apart. We have made sure that the oil pump is working and pumping two stroke oil as it should and have added a little oil to the petrol and would recommend continueing to do this whilst it is run in. the rear indicators are broken but work the front ones do not work. could be bulbs or wiring. nbsp;The head lights and brake lights are all okThe Ignition switch and steering lock are all okFront tyre low. rear tyre goodBattery is low and might need replacementelectric starter appears not to work not sure if its the button. starter motor or battery causing issue. but it starts easily enough with the kick startI have the log bookI think this would suit someone who has some mechanical ability and has the time to spend a day getting the little jobs sorted. unfortunatly my mechanic charges his time out at ?40 per hour. All in all a great little project which now the engine is rebuilt would make a great looking bike for new rider.
