This bike has a very good rolling chassis with complete engine however as you can see in the pictures the head is not on the engine. /p>

Had an initial problem with the old head going on the bike. took it to a bike garage who told us it needed a new head. bought a Pollini 80cc head from BSL Performance in Chesterfield. they sell every thing Derbi Senda the web address is www. bike-spares. co. uk

This head was fitted by the bike shop and my lad was Happy :-)

We had electrical issues with it not starting. turned out to be the CDI gone. bought a new CDI and Generator. the bike garage fitted these. no more worries. we were told that the Regulator rectifier needed replacing. I'm told all this does is sort the battery being charged whilst being ridden. I bought one of these from e-bay. a guy part chopping his bike. before we had chance to take it to get it fitted by the garage the engine broke down. I have the part ready to be fitted

Took the bike to the garage to find that the bottom crank had given up the ghost. should have changed when I changed the head in heinsight.

I'm no mechanic as you can clearly see by the fact its been to the garage every time for any issues. for this reason it's cost me a small fortune which you will see the receipts in the listing. just zoom in.

My Son being 16 after spending £130 of his own Money on Brand new Charlie Boorman tyres (Continental Twinduro's) has now become disillusioned and no longer wants the bike and my wife will not let me spend any more money on it. /p>

I believe for not a lot of money this bike can be quickly back running and on the road. if you can do Mechanics your self you are on a winner from the start. /p>

As have stated I'm no Mechanic and can therefore offer no guarantee's on the faults with this bike. in particular the engine however you are more than welcome to come and view for your self. /p>

It is kept in a locked garage at home therefore no debris is getting into the engine whilst it sits and waits for it's new owner. I have also covered the open section of the engine with a bag for extra security.
