Ducati 748 SP 1997 SPS 916 996 Desmoquattro Fully Serviced

Ducati 748SP. First registered 19 March 1997. 3 former keepers. This machine has just been Fully serviced by a Ducati Specialist. Service included belts. Fuel Filter. Fully synthetic oil. Genuine oil filter. coolant & Fluids and a full check over. I have owned the bike for well over 2 years. I can deliver if required. Large Bore Termignoni Exhaust and chip. Beautiful and ready for a fantastic 2015 riding season. I have owned 8 Desmoquattro Ducatis including a number of 748s. an ST4 and a 996. This is my second 748SP. The 748 SP is my favourite Duke to ride. It is revy. quick and the Yellow paint with gold livery looks utterly amazing on a hot bright summer day. The racing homologated parts fitted to the SP make all the difference. This one has them all including the aluminium sub-frame. cast iron full floating discs. more powerful engine and the Ohlins suspension. The 748 SP is as fast as a 916 with superior brakes and handling. There are quite a few money-pit ropey old Desmoquattros out there. This is not one of them. Values are going up. This is advertised at a sensible price in order to fund a new project for 2015. Completely original apart from the hand turned and kuurled foot rests. I can replace these with original Ducati footrests if you prefer. This SP is also fitted with the trick quick change rear sprocket carrier.
