2006 Ducati 999R Xerox Edition in Showroom Condition

Ducati 999R Xerox Limited Edition #195 of 300 made. 6150 miles. Never tracked or abused. It is truly showroom condition. This was a very limited model. The Xerox edition is a much sought after version. I've read conflicting things on whether mechanically there were differences to non-Xerox R bikes. but I believe the Ohlins triple adjustable rear shock was. The bike came with the larger Termi asymmetric exhaust/ECU that came with 999R bikes already installed (the smaller muffler/ECU were gone). along with Rizoma rear sets & bar-ends and an open clutch cover. 2nd owner added a beautifully custom painted (to match) carbon hugger - he did an excellent job and it looks great as you will see in the pics. Comes with red key. 3 black keys. metal mechanical code tag and code card. copy of the 999R workshop manual on a DVD. owners manual and red pouch for it. To say the bike has been properly looked after since new is an understatement. The bike is beautiful cosmetically and mechanically. I've ridden all types of road bikes for 40 years - this is the nicest. highest quality bike I have owned and its performance envelope is far beyond most of us. yet is an utterly predictable and forgiving sports bike. I have always treated it like the gem it is. Cosmetically the bike is excellent and probably as good as you can get for a bike that has been ridden. I had the rear shock and fork springs re-sprung to better suit my weight with gear of 200 lbs. I installed a used Ducati slipper clutch.   Previous owner made some simple changes to improve comfort and functionality. Cycle Cat mirrors in photos have been replaced with original factory mirrors. although the CC mirrors are nice for visibility. Factory are much better looking!  All OEM parts are included in the sale. For longer rides previous owner added a Throttle-Meister. DP comfort seat and a ZeroGravity Windsscreen. Diablo Rosso Corsa tires have about 1700 miles on them. The bike needs nothing. Scheduled service was done at 6000 miles by Eric at Ducati of Chandler. Valves were checked at service and found to be in center of specs. Will also include a LTSnyder DesmoTimes Ducati Desmoquattro maintenance guide. These are rare bikes. and the Xerox one of the more sought after. If you know what these are. you'll understand and won't be disappointed.
