Hello and welcome to the sale of my Ducati 900 Cafe Racer. The bike has had lots of major work undertaken which included a frame weld and gusset job prior to powder coating (historic 900 issue) . I have fitted a Tuffside leather seat from the US which cost over ?200 and had the tank and front guard professionally sprayed. New belts have been fitted but bike has not been started up since fitting last year. This was due to be my ongoing project but last summer I lost my access to a garage and the work has become increasingly more difficult to do. Presently she is standing in the living room as I needed to get her out of the damp but I can't justify it staying there and I can't use living room as a workshop so we will see whether she sells! I bought the SS as a standard bike. running well with history which is available to view. I bought her with the intention of cafe racing it so all standard parts have been sold on. The bike looks beautiful and I am gutted to be selling at this point as there isn't a lot to do. she will be an amazing one off which is going to be admired wherever she's parked up. I am not a bullshit merchant and if you want honest answers to questions I will give them. History states an engine rebuild at 17500mls and fork re chrome. I can't confirm this work and have assumed it to be true as buyer will have to. Some electric finishing for rear lights and headlamp. all achievable by most but if your more able than most a piece of piss. Clean up of engine finish and some alloy polishing will have bike were she deserves to be and new owner will reap the rewards. I have set the price at a point that leaves me with as small a kicking as possible whilst remaining realistic for the standard of what your getting so do us all a favour and leave stupid offers for the crap that's out there calling itself "cafe racer".
Viewing is recommended. we will arrange times on request. If you want to ask a question just fire away and I will be in-touch. Thanks for looking.
