What can I say?A timeless soon to be classic. A beautiful Ducati that has stood the test of time. No many 13 year old bikes look this good on the road. Lovely lines. fully faired version in factory Matte Black. I bought this bike in 2012 from a crash repair centre. don't worry. He had taken it in part exchange. That being said. the bike wasn't looking her best. The previous owner for reasons I will never understand decided to paint her yellow. and then gloss black. cut down her exhausts to make stubbies and generally not treated her well. I rescued her. Since owning her. I have stripped her down and had her re-painted in factory Matte Black (2001 ie) imported original exhaust cans from Australia. Running gear has been replaced. chain and sprockets. last summer I had all gaskets changed and the engine rebuilt. (professionally. not by me). I upgraded the headlight to white from the factory yellowish. it has black allycators all round (no longer available). a tail tidy and a smidge of carbon. All Carbon is exactly that. not Carbon look plastic. Carbon Clock surround. yoke cover. fuel cap cover and tank pad. It all fits beautifully with the black paint. The seat has been professionally recovered in black. The original bike had a grey seat and grey padded tank pad. I think the black upgrades really make the bike more sleek. Have a look for yourself. there are plenty of "ie" photos online to compare to. Included will be a brand new and boxed Chain/Speocket set worth over ?100. A sidestand override system. a minor pain with this bike is that it will only start with the sidestand up. So either on a paddock stand or with you sitting on it. The override is a commercial item that I haven't got around to fitting. It allows the bike to start on the stand but still cut out if put into gear. Since owning. I have all the paperwork. Services. belt changes. brakes MOT's and receipts for what I've added. It won't blow away a Japanese sports bike but it will separate you from the crowd. Ducati owners are a little different and understand that speed isn't everything. Lovely v-twin grunt will pull you hard through all the gears but its top end won't see off an R6. Test rides available on request with full payment in my hand (sorry all|)Viewings always welcome. Thank you or looking. get in before someone else snaps her up. Ready to rollSafe riding
