2003 Ducati Supersport 1000DS Race Bike w/ Ohlins, Microtec ECU & More

It was a tough decision to make. but circumstances force the sale of my beloved Ducati 1000SS LW race bike. I’ve had a great run on this bike. winning 2 National Championships and 3 Regional Championships on it. This bike was also instrumental in helping Greg Melka secure his first ever #1 plate in Florida. The bike has been on the podium at Daytona Race Of Champions in LW SS every year for the last 4 years. However. in ’14 this bike was only raced a handful of times. We built a new bike in September ’13 . so the 1000SS didn’t get raced that much in ’14. it was used only as a backup bike and for practice/track days. This bike is legal for all CCS Lightweight classes including Supersport. This bike has been meticulously maintained over the last 4 years by Adam and Seb at Melillimoto Ducati. the extensive service history is available to the buyer upon request. No expense was ever spared in the maintenance of this bike – oil changes (Motul) every 3rd race weekend. valve adjust/new belts at least once if not twice a year. the engine has been blueprinted twice (’12. ’13). etc. etc. Engine was not blueprinted in ’14 because as noted the bike got very little use during the year. Melillimoto just did a valve adjustment and oil change. and as you can see in the pics the bike was just re-painted as well. Actual mileage is probably around 6500 miles. but if I remember correctly the odometer on the dash reads around 2000 miles. Clean/Clear title is in hand.
