Description

This is your chance to own one of the coolest bikes out there. bikes like this don't come up for sale everyday. 2004 Ducati 999 TURN KEY custom cafe racer superbike. Everyone thinks their Harleys and Ducatis are real cool until something like this pulls up next to them. Painted in a True Flat Black this bike is like a shadow in direct sunlight. Couple people have told me that it looks like a "bat-mobike"The bike is for sale locally here in Reno. NV for $15. 00 as well so this auction may end at anytime. If a buyer here on ebay would like to make me a buy it now offer feel free to shoot me a message. Im thinking I may get it sold within the week as for good reason there has been alot of interest already. just wanted to get it up on ebay to get a wider market. If it does not sell first. it will go to auction and the highest bidder will win. If buyer needs assistance with shipping I can make all the arrangements to your doorstep. I can also provide a "shipped to your doorstep" buy it now price as well. Just let me know. or of course the buyer may make arrangements and I will assist their shipper in any way I can. To see a Video of the bike go to youtube and type: fjgkduau999 into the search box Much lighter than its stock incarnation. this bike sports a custom 100% carbon Fiber Gas tank. these will cost you an arm and a leg alone if you can get your hands on one. It has lines to kill for and a nice light-tec gas cap topping it off. It also has a Custom tail section with lines to match the tank. and a sweet custom LED tail light and plate mount in the rear. very. very appealing to the eye. The tail also sports a handmade fiberglass seat pan. covered in high density foam. and then professionally upholstered by a local shop who did an awesome job on the two tone vinyl seat. To go along with the tail a custom exhaust designed to look like that of the Mercedes SLR with an upswept look to match the lines of the fairing. It is a true independent 2-2 exhaust. no crossovers SOUNDS and LOOKS INCREDIBLE. There are baffles in the pipes so it is not just straight piped. still has low end grunt with adequate backpressure. I did not dyno it but it sure would be interesting to see. Has carbon fiber all over the bike. front fairing. ram air covers. etc. PAZZO silver shorty adjustable levers. 6k Hid high and low beam lights. Tinted double bubble windscreen. Stainless brake lines all around and clutch line. PSR clutch slave. Speedymoto clutch cover . I know there are things im forgetting this is off the top of my head. Has front and rear signals (rears are not pictured but they are on there now) all LED. as well as a functioning horn etc. tail / brake light. all DOT LegalHas all of the factory wiring and gauges etc in tact. with the Red Key for the ignition. Low 14k miles. do some google research these bikes are alot more reliable than I thought capable of 100k plus miles from what I found. Engine Is super strong and tight. starts right up without choke even when cold. and pulls HARD. Brand new clutch. New chain. new vortex sprockets. new progrip SBK grips. new oil. filter brakes bled. clutch bled. etc. etc. This bike is sure to stop motorcycle enthusiasts in there tracks when it hits the streets. I couldn't ride it anywhere in town without people asking about it. Bike was never raced. owned by a older gentlemen who apprently had a lowside in the twisties and scraped up the front left side fairings pretty good and broke the rear set. that was enough damage to deem it salvaged. I bought it from a guy that was probably in his early fourties who rebuilt it and used it as a commuter in Northern California. he license plate you see in the pictures is just a dummy plate I used to make the mount. I guess the only "downside" to mention is it was once salvaged. however if you can register it in California you can register it anywhere in the U. S. as they have the most strict polices that I know of. I have pictures of when I bought it somewhere on my computer. It was a nice clean bike wouldn't have known it went down at one time. I drive a "salvaged" car and It has been great but I understand some people do not like that label. and if it is a deal breaker for a particular buyer. I can Find a Clean title frame and swap everything over so you can have a clean title for an extra 1. 00$. If you were to go that route I can also have it powder-coated a gloss black. would look awesome! I would also like to say that I did not "design" the overall look of this bike myself. there are pictures on the web of another bike that sold for something like $28k but it was a 999r with the upgraded suspension and what not. its silver if you type in 999 cafe racer you will find it somewhere on google. . That is the bike this one was modeled after. Please let me know if you have any questions. If it is easier for you. you can call or text me from 9am to 10pm pacific time at 775-742-8807.
