This started life out as a super clean 2001 Monster 750 with only 6k miles. The bike is for sale locally as well. so this auction may end at anytime if a local buyer comes along. If a buyer here on ebay would like to make a buy it now offer feel free to contact me. If a buyer has any questions about the bike I can be contacted through ebay or call / text 775-742-8807. (please read description thoroughly before contacting me)If a buyer needs assistance with shipping I can provide shipping to your door nationwide for 500$. The closer you are to nevada the cheaper it may be (Socal = 200$) Or the buyer can of course provide their own shipping. This is a turn key motorcycle. ready to be ridden home right now. I have both factory Ducati Keys and the title in hand that will go to the new owner. To here a sound clip of the bike go to youtube and type: 88rhr83hr33gh750 into the search box. I can also send pictures or video of whatever you would like to see. >Went with a gas tank from a 2005 Ducati 999. as well as a custom tail section made to fit the tank. Of course the 999 is a fuel injected bike. and therefore came with a high pressure fuel pump. The fuel pump has been modified to not pump at high pressure. basically just circulates fuel now. Worked out great. In order to get the single sided swingarm to work. I needed to find a frame in which could accept both the engine and the rear shock assembly. I found a good st2 frame that fit the bill perfectly his bike was laid down and the owner parted it out. selling me the frame. The frame was inspected by a ducati specialist in Sacramento and is as straight as an arrow. Some modifications have been done to the frame in order to accept the Carburetors. and the aftermarket gas tank and tail section. The stock shock for the st2 would not fit because the reservoir would hit the frame. the S4R shock would not work because the reservoir would hit the swingarm. I finally settled on a 999 rear shock and it fits perfectly. With the swingarm coming out farther on the left side than from the factory. the clearance of the exhaust became an issue. and I decided to go with a 2-1 system. I found an awesome akropovic can and got it all setup nice. and it sounds incredible. Next was to get rid of the crappy stock non-adjustable front forks. I found a nice used set of forks from a 2005 S4R as well. fully adjustable showa forks with the gold legs. look nice and perform waaaaay better than the stock 01 750 forks. Also found a nice set of S4R rotors for up front. they look awesome. I added a Headlight from a V-rod. This was another expensive piece but well worth it in the end. I also have a Number plate and mount that can be swapped out in place of the headlight if the bew owner wants to hit the track. or just mount a headlight behind the number plate (that was my first intention)Once everything was all sorted I went in to FineLine powdercoating here in Reno and apprenttly I picked out the most expensive powder they sold. It is called Allusion Blueberry. and it looks amazing. The frame and swingarm were both coated as well as some other parts in different colors. Powdercoating alone was close to 700$Of course the tank and tail had to be painted. Custom silver blue black and red theme. looks awesome. all covered in a high gloss clear. Basically everything on the bike except the engine is aftermarket. Lots of very nice components. To have a shop build you one of these would probably exceed 20k. Contact a shop and see for yourself. This bike took months of work. and lots and lots of $ to build and turned out awesome. It is now ready to be ridden daily or just as a second bike. either way it is sure to make someone happy.
