1997 DUCATI 900SS SUPER SPORT CAFE BIKE MOTORCYCLE TRACK BIKE CLASSIC

Open & clean California title 1997 Ducati 900SS w/ 24744 miles for sale. This is a garaged and very clean bike for being 18 years old. I planned on making a track bike but went a different route. I bought the bike from the owner in California. There it sat for 6 years in a garage and was not ridden. I bought it and installed new fuel pump sending units new battery oil change and she fired right up. Bike stays on a trickle charger and gets started often. I've ridden it around the parking lot but that is as far as I've got. It starts well but needs choke on when cold; I'm sure the carbs just need to be adjusted and cleaned. The brakes work. The front brake is firm where as the back brake seems softer and needs some adjustment. The transmission shifts through it's gears smoothly and the clutch grabs great. It has a very nice Two Brother Racing exhaust producing that deep Ducati growl. Overall the bike looks and sounds really healthy.I've now bought a new bike and have lost interest in this one. As much as I would like to keep it I'd love to also see it go to someone who will appreciate it. It's really really clean and has a couple minor flaws. There is a small scratch in tank (pictured) a scuff on left exhaust (pictured) and a scrap on side left front fairing looks like someone slide against a wall or object(pictured). The left mirror is always loose and falls down. I've never figured out how to properly tighten it.I'm open to offers but won't respond to lowballs. It's worth in parts is more than my asking price.
