*Up for auction is a 1965 Ducati Scrambler 250cc survivor. The Scrambler engine and drive train are unmolested. The engine seal is intact and the bike for the most part still in it's original configuration with original parts. We acquired the bike to present at the Honolulu Ducati Dealership 2015 Ducati Scrambler premiere. The bike cleaned up very well see first picture in listing. The oil and fuel were replaced and the bike started and shifts through all gears as it should. The front and back brakes are aged but work without issue. We drained the fuel then wet blasted the tank light bucket and fenders and had them professionally painted for the show. The head light chrome hood was replaced with a new Italian replacement also a correct speedometer and cable were installed.
*Ref - Wikipedia: The first Scramblers (1962~1967) were derived from street-legal models and featured "narrow case" engines with lightly altered frames. It originally derived from a Ducati Diana road bike converted by Michael Berliner for dirt-track racing in America.[7]These Scrambler models all had a maximum engine capacity of 250cc and are generally referred to as "narrow case Scrambler(s)"
*The bike will surely increase in value with the introduction of the new Ducati Scrambler lineup. This rare small case engine classic comes with current and clear title.
We will assist with shipping.
