The reason Im selling this beautiful bike. I am married to a beautiful Albanian woman and this sale will go to throw us a beautiful Albanian wedding! So, hoever uses "Buy It Now" will be blessing us so we can be together very soon. So, ou are doing way more than just buying a Superbike! Your also uniting us as a married couple and a family! We lived together for 3 years however, n overseas contract became very difficult and forced me to come back to the states before our wedding. It will be Everything for me and my wife to start!! 998 History:The Ducati 998 officially ended production in 2004 with the release of the 998s FE ("Final Edition"). This bike was only available by special order; it was not available as a regular production model. They were available in Biposto and Monoposto(one or two seat) versions. It was largely similar to the US model 2002 998S (using the standard 998 engine but with uprated Ohlins suspension components and Brembo four-piston calipers).
The 996 had a bore and stroke of 98.0 mm ? 66.0 mm (3.86 in ? 2.60 in). The bore and stoke of the 998 was more oversquare at 100.0 mm ? 63.5 mm (3.94 in ? 2.50 in). The included valve angle was reduced from 40 degrees on the 996 to 25 degrees on the 998. 2004 Ducati 998 Matrix Reloaded limited edition for sale in Ellsworth, llinois.If you've a fan of the Matrix Trilogy, pecifically the Reloaded movie, hen you must remember the superbike chase scene with Trinity riding a Ducati zipping in and out of cars on the freeway. Although you can clearly read the "996" designation in the movie, ucati introduced a 998 Matrix Reloaded limited edition in a dark green "Matrix" color.
This is a 2004-Limited Edition Ducati 998 Matrix Reloaded. Its in Excellent condition, ow miles and always been garaged and on a front wheel chalk block. It has a clear title and never had any problem. It has been regularly maintained with tune up. I have put on brand new rear turn signals that are sequentialintegratedLEDs and Beautiful!! When I got the bike it had a 1098wiringharness on it for the rear lights and was not functioning properly. The harness was removed and the original wires that were zip corded up, rewired the original wires. The rear marker lights work perfect and are very bright! That was the only issue I have had. The bike is very well cleaned and I have personally detailed it from top to bottom! The bike comes with the front chalk block where you can keep the kickstand up and it wont fall over! Awesome garage feature and a set of new tie-down straps! I have all the paperwork,maintenancedocuments, actory 998 book! Which alone is very RARE!! The coolant has been ran with anitfreeze and water-wetter to maintain a cooler running temp which works perfectly and on average keeps the bike about 15 degrees cooler.
Sources indicate that only 144 of these 998 Matrix Limited editions were made worldwide. I have contacted about 35 ducati dealers nationwide and have been told that only about 43 remainoperationalin the US!!!! I have been a fan of this bike since its production and I have never seen another one on the road! It is always a huge head turner!!
It's always hard to a put a value on these movie or "novelty" editions, ut considering that. The 998 are the best of the 916 series. Although a green Ducati is not a normal production color, he color and paint scheme is very sharp. The entire Matrix series was phenomenal, nd of course Trinity rocks! If your a serious collector and want a RARE piece this is an Amazing find!!
