Ducati 900SS SP , 1994. Phenomenal condition.

1994 Ducati 900 SS SP. Near mint condition. Perfect running condition.  This is a phenomenal motorcycle. One of the best. if not the best handling bike  ever . bar none.  Super steady at cornering speeds and it begs for more lean angle. And the engine is outstanding. with instant throttle response and all the torque you want for amazing acceleration. And the sound!!! NOTHING  has that delicious sound at 6000 rpm and when you let off the gas. sounds even better!  Cannot be described in words. An almost spiritual experience. Ok. for the specifics of the bike:Original bodywork that is near perfect with only a few rock chips underneath the fairing from normal running. only seen from underneath. The seat is like new simply perfect. Gas tank is flawless. with perfect original paint. Original Ducati optional carbon fiber front and rear fenders. clutch cover. belt covers and gauge cluster surround (a $1500 factory option). Stainless steel braided brake lines front and rear. Termignone carbon mufflers with rejetted carbs. Starts perfectly. idles perfectly. accelerates with no flat spots. no backfiring. only smooth continuos acceleration. A real pleasure to ride. Engine was rebuilt about 1800 miles ago with new 944cc JE pistons and reinforced head studs. high performance valve job. Has just had new belts and valves adjusted. New oil and filter. New fuel pump and new battery. A $1200 Ohlins rear shock was fitted that improves what was already great handling. Worth every dollar. You can go at full lean angle and hit a bump and the shock just absorbs it and the bike stays as steady as can be. Super. New Pirelli GT tires just fitted 75 miles ago. As you can probably tell by now. this bike is a real jewel and I will not be happy when I sell it but for personal reasons I must but I will not give it away. Yet I will let it go for much less than what it is really worth. These bikes are classics and in time they will be worth 5 figures. mark my words. If it doesn't reach starting price I will not sell it. I will just have to deal with my wife when and if that happens. If you buy this bike you will not be disappointed.
