Description

Up for auction is my 2006 Ducati Super Sport 1000 DS, he last year without anti lock brakes or stability control as far as I know (truly a riders Bike), t has 2.525 miles more or less, porting 95+% premium sport Michelin's wrapping black Marchesini Wheels as you sill see in the pictures. It has a red performance chain to match the body and frame that was installed 300 miles ago with the tires. This sale also includes the kit to convert it for two up riding with grab bar and everything needed, t comes with the one up cowl installed and the two up kit wrapped in bubble wrap and boxed, ne Red Shoei Full Face Helmet (I think it's a Large) and a pair of Red, ot In Original Box(Never Worn and will ship in a Nike Box) Puma Ducati shoes in size 11.5 US if that's your size and want them? Just say so and I'll include them. Also included is a Red & Black High Quality (I think it's a Dura Last, t's in one of the pictures) Bike Cover.
Please keep in mind this bike is a BEAST! Please no novice riders with more dollars than sense as this bike can and will hurt you! As will most Super Bikes. I advise starting in the dirt and learning the limits where there's sand, rass, rees and other bikes to contend with. Then once you feel like you've mastered that? Get a 600cc or less sport bike and have a blast until that bores you (should take a while?) then move up. Just some friendly advise from a lifetime of experience learning the hard way, hich by the way is the way I just described to you in the last sentence. I have seen too many young men who's parents wouldn't let them ride young, et their independence and go right to a Super Bikes and lose their lives in very short order. Or they got lucky and wiped out, igh sided or lost their nerve in a curve and stood up and went off road to survive with the fear never to ride again. Please ride responsibly and when you are on the road, onsider everyone in a cage to be an idiot and you have to ride to keep them from killing you!
This bike is worth more to me than the NADA or any other valuing service will give it and I would rather hang it on the wall in my man cave as the piece of art that she is than give it away as it's worth it as a piece of art that she is. Please feel free to call me at (813)949-3503 (leave your name and number if I don't answer and I'll call back on my cell, r you can call back later?) and if I get the impression you are a rider and are meant to be with this Bike? I may very well lower my reserve for the right person if I get the feeling that you belong with this Bike?
Here's the link to the Youtube Video with a starting and running walk around

:. You can hear the dry clutch, forgot to pull the clutch lever in so you could hear the engine without that noisy dry clutch. The chirping after I shut her down are the squirrels in the trees all around as they get excited when I run any of my bikes. :-) I will gladly shoot another video upon request? Could even shoot one going down the road, OV with my GoPro Chestie and a buddy on the ground for that perspective. In fact if she doesn't sell in this auction? I'll do that before relisting her, ecause I will relist her within a week or two if she doesn't sell this time. This is the link to the new PhotoBucket Album with the High Resolution images including the ones I wasn't able to upload here because they exceeded the size limits and I'll upload more photos on request:None of the photobucket links would pass eBay's approval, o message me and I'll paste the link in the reply to show close up images of the tail piece/seat cover where I'm trying to show the cracks along the edge next to the seat and an imperfection in the paint. The part wasn't clear coated when I got the bike so the decals where exposed, o I had it cleared at a high end paint shop. There are now pictures of the two up conversion kit, he Red Shoei Helmet and Dura Last red and black cover.
Thanks for checking out my auction and good luck!
Sincerely, Frank aka TampaNative
