This is the real deal!! A genuine documented 1957 MORINI SETTEBELLO. Italian bike enthusiasts will know that this a veryhard to findbike in the US and rare in Europe.
1957 makes this bike totally "Giro d"Italia" eligible. Upgraded with Marzochi forks and Grimeca front brake. Lightened in preparation for the Milano-Taranto road race. Working lights with larger tail light ( new original CEV light included).
World champion Giacomo Agostini started his racing career on a Settebello. He bought his brand new for 500.000 lira with monthly payments of 30.000 lira!
The Settebello compares very favorably with contemporary Italian models and was a high performance bike with great racing success.
Parilla 175 Special 13bhp. 126 kms per hour
MV CSS Disco Volante 16bhp. 138 kms per hour. MV CS 11bhp 110 kms per hour
Ducati 175 Sport 14bhp. 135 kms per hour. Ducati Elite 200cc 16bhp. 140 kms per hour
Morini Settebello 15bhp. 138 kms per hour. The Morini was by far the most reliable of the bunch and was well known in sprints, ndurance and hill climb events.
Good running condition. Overhead valve 4 stroke. 4 speed. Custom foot-pegs but original pegs and peg rubbers are included.
Clear California title in my name plus the original Italian title documenting a genuine item. This was a limited production model so there are quite a few replicas out there based on the GT version.
