1977 Ducati 500 Sport Desmo, Runs great! Nice!

This is a 1977 Ducati 500 Sport Desmo. Fabio Taglino took the ill fated 500GTL parallel twin and breathed on it. The result a true butaffordable desmo with updated styling over the original GTL. Twin single pot Brembo disc brakes up front and single disc rear. SOHC 500cc (497cc) desmodromic -2 valves per cylinder, speed transmission, actory Marzocchi suspension on Borrani cast aluminum wheels and working electric start.
The bike is largelyoriginal but sports Tomaselli risers over the factory clip ons and theoriginal seat cover should be black. This one is white leather. I believe the paint to beoriginal. I believe the black headers are correct. The bike runs and drives fine. It starts easy. I had the rear brake caliper and rear master cylinder rebuilt, eplaced a rear brake line, nd front brake line, nd a new correct Italian fuel petcock. The positive stops in the ignition switch are worn. The switch feelsflakey but works. A new Italian replacement switch from Syd's isincluded. The tires are vintage but otherwise fine and it could probablyuse rear brake pads in the next few thousand miles. That's about it. Ibought this bike together with several others but I've got a number of bikes which I plan to keep. Title is clear and in my own name. I'm sorry, have to use a reserve butthe reservevery reasonable.
