You are viewing a 2007 Ducati Sport Classic 1000 Biposto.
As many refer to it as the Tron bike from the TRON: Legacy movie in 2010 (YouTube scene here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuCjHXLHGUk), his Ducati is almost identical in black with the white stripe.
I purchased the bike from the original owner in January 2013 and have since put less than 100 miles on it. My intention was to keep it and start a collection of unique bikes that were in perfect condition, o that is why it has so few miles on it since I purchased it. It has sat in my air conditioned garage for more than 3 years, tarted every few months and a short ride once in awhile.
I have kept this bike stock with just 4 exceptions:
I had the inside of my brand new gas tank caswell treated by the one and only JC Pak Bikes in Hollywood, A (he is the pro at Ducati Sport Classics). Like many of the SportClassic plastic tanks, he original tank had a swell on it when I bought it, o Ducati replaced with a brand new OEM tank for free and before I had it installed I had it shipped right to JC PAK to get it caswell epoxy treated. All in this was approx a $1000 upgrade with shipping, ax, tc and you now never have to worry about the common Ducati tank swell issue.
I added the Termignoni exhaust, ecause...well you just need to have these on the bike. Theyre beautiful to look at and even more beautiful to listen to. This was approx. $2,000 upgrade and I got the last pair ever made, hipped directly from Italy. They took me forever to find since they dont make this bike or pipes anymore. (I also still have original pipes if you wanted to put those back on and sell these, owever, highly recommend you dont as these pipes are a big part of the awesomeness of this bike).
I added a pair of Motovation Frame Sliders, his was approx. $200 (very easy to remove if you want to bring this bike back to stock condition). I wanted these on just incase someone accidently bumped into the bike and tipped it over (to save the perfect tank).
I removed the extended fender eliminator (again, have the original extended fender if you want to re-install and bring back to the original condition).
Other than the above, verything is stock and the bike is is absolute perfect condition and has a new set of rubber on it. Total mileage is about 7,000.
Happy to answer any questions you may have. I dont need the money, o no low-ball offers please, will only consider selling this bike to someone who really appreciates and maybe has the time to ride it more than me. Clear title in hand.
I also reserve the right to sell this to someone else not on here as I have this bike listed locally as well.
Delivery is on you, lthough I am happy to be here if you have a shipping service pick it up, can take photos and make sure they load it up right. Thanks.
