Description

You are bidding on a 1965 Ducati Mark 3 250cc single.Crankcase is stamped with serial number 94837/DM250M3. 5 speed gearbox and I believe it has a magneto type ignition. Great barn find that I've had for a number of years. It is in the same condition as when I purchased it. No repairs were done but I did find parts that were missing including a chain guard, alf a tool box????, alve cover, hift lever, evel gear cover and a complete used exhaust system which is a Syd's Cycle megaphone. As shown in photos, here are still some pieces missing including but not limited to the fuel cap, ight side tool box, oints, omplete wiring harness and several cables.

All parts will need some form of restoration which will include painting, olishing, leaning, lating, tc.The fuel tank appears to be an original 1965.The tank is as I received it as shown.Does not appear to leak.Inside has light rust.Tank has other dents and repairs not shown in photos but am happy to send those along (ebay limits photos to 12 with listing).

The original Mark 3 seat needs recovering.Shocks, orks and original M. Baruzzo wheels as shown.Unsure if fenders are original, lease consult an expert. Front fender is complete; rear has been bobbed. The headlamp includes the original headlight and rim (which is dented) and a 150 mph speedometer without glass. No internal wiring.

Dellorto SSI 29D carb, ostly complete.Original fuel taps.Cylinder head is original big valve head, 0mm intake, 7mm exhaust.Excellent exhaust threads.Has adjustable type rockers. No broken fins on cylinder; and engine crankcase is undamaged.

When the bike was purchased, he crank was seized and the piston was missing.Still seized but now includes a complete good serviceable crankshaft.Piston still needed, riginal bore size in good condition.

Excellent candidate for restoration of the very desirable Mark 3!Please note that this version of the Mark 3 frame can accommodate the rearset style controls.

Shipping is responsibility of buyer including arranging and payment.I am more than happy to work with your shipper and make myself available for the pickup.

I've been selling on eBay for over 16 years and have always had 100% positive feedback so you can bid with confidence!Need more pictures?Just send me an email and I'll get them off to you. (I had to relist this as ebay made me change the category to ebay motors).

NOTE: ebay does not allow you to list that the bike has no title, herefore, chose salvage but please note that this bike has NO title. Also, bay requires I put in mileage. Since it is unknown, just put 0 but obviously it's a lot more than that! :)
