Up for auction is this beautiful 1982 Ducati Pantah 600sl Desmo with very low Mileages 6193 mi. Odometer reads 9968 km. Not miles.
This model was a major milestone for Ducati. The old bevel drives singles and twins gave way to the belt driven cams. This is the beginning of Taglioni's current generation of Ducati belt drive twins and remain a landmark in Ducatis history. It's a true collectible and rare opportunity to own a piece of Italian history's in the United States.
This motorcycle have been currently service and maintained. New battery new clutch cables new throttle cables, arburetor adjusted and sync'd, ew sprockets and chain. It's runs perfectly it's steady as a rock in all maneuvers. It starts easily and maintain a smooth idle and rev's up quickly, ll functions on the bike work properly, ot oil leaks. It's ready to ride.
It has some small little dents on the side of the gas tank as well as the front fender and the Conti mufflers from the previous owner. You can see the imperfections in the pics. Please review them carefully. You will not be disappointed in the mechanical functions of this unmolested bike for years to come. I purchased this bike in 2011 from a very good friend who purchased it from the original owner in Jersey.
