2001 Ducati Monster 900IE "Metallic"-Very Low Miles-Excellent Condition-WOW!!!

 You are bidding on a fairly rare 2001' Ducati Monster 900ie in the limited edition "Metallic" finish option. From what I have been able to find out. here were only around 50 of these produced for the US market. nd I have never seen another in the flesh. This bike is in excellent overall condition. ith only 2. 00 miles. nd ready to put on many more. Here are the details:

I purchased the bike last spring from the original owner who bought it new in California. nd then moved to Arizona. here very little miles were put on it. I purchased the bike. nd had it shipped to me. nd unfortunately. ad rotator cuff surgery. nd have not put the miles on it that it deserves. I did have the bike serviced. nd here is what was done.

The timing belts were changed due to the age. ot the mileage. nd the valves were adjusted. All oils/fluids & filters were changed. s well as the spark plugs. The fuel injectors were synchronized. nd the bike starts up & runs great-No issues or excuses. All electronics/bulbs/lights work as they should. After everything was checked out. obtained a set of Leo Vince Titanium mufflers. nd had them installed to give it that true Ducati rumble-What a difference!I have all the original mufflers. nd will include them with the winning bid. Tires are in great shape. ith no dry rot or cracking.

The "metallic" finish on the gas tank is really wild. nd changes colors depending on the lighting condition. Has a pearlescent quality to it that really pops in the sunlight. Very cool!I installed a set of matching handlebar grips to accent the finish. Other than that. ll body panels/parts are original to the bike. s are the mirrors. enders. eflectors. No modifications were made to this bike. nd it was never ridden hard. I have the original clear California title. s I never got it changed over to a PA title.

These are great motors. s they have the 2 valve heads and are oil cooled for simplicity. ut also have the 6-speed transmission/dry clutch. nd fuel injection. Really the best of all worlds for that time period. Light weight. nd handles great. nd really is a blast to ride.
