2003 DUCATI M 1000 S MONSTER Plus adapted Hedingham XL Sidecar

Description

I am selling this motorcycle and sidecar on behalf of the widow (3rd Owner).  The bike is very clean and has not done many miles since being bought.   Exceptional Condition.  Serviced every four years with history. and was HPI checked by the current owner and was clear. The bike has had Leading Link Forks fitted to alleviate the problems inherited with using standard telescopic forks. which have excess trail and insufficient lateral rigidity which manifest through the steering. which is heavy and prone to wobble violently. The Hedingham Sidecar has been adapted to allow easy access for a wheelchair and includes ramps.  The seat is easily removable to allow easy access.

The sidecar is fitted to the motorcycle using a purpose made subframe. which means no welding or modifications to the motorcycle. The sidecar is then removable from the subframe in 10 minutes (4 bolts and 1 electrical connector). enabling the motorcycle to be ridden solo (if the original forks are utilised).  Re-fitting is again a 10 minute job for servicing only purposes.
