Ducati 900ss Sport 2010 make great Donor for a Classic Cafe Racer

2010 and just 8645 miles

This is a great bike. I built a caf?© racer from a 2006 one of these at the start of the year and was going to do something similar with this. but it's just too good to take the angle grinder too. The last photo is of my other build and is not this bike and is not included in the sale. although it will become for sale soon. or if you want to buy this and have one built similar; that can be discussed!

The reason I'm selling is to fund my other project builds.

There's not much to say about this bike. it's in great condition for a 2010. nbsp;8645 mile Ducati.

There are a couple of things worth mentioning. there's only one key. the right hand grip and bar end are marked as shown in photo and the left hand side mirror stem is a bit scabby. this is because the original mirror was missing. so the stem is off of another SS I have in the workshop. Exhausts have a couple of little marks and the engine has a tiny amount of paint coming away. but I promise you. it's hardly anything and Ducati's are prone to dropping all their engine paint. just take a good look at the pics and feel free to come and view. this really is in great condition. I'd be so bold as to say it has always been garage.

The bike is the Sport model. not the SS. basically the SS has the full fairing (lower section). if you wanted to make it fully faired I do have a fairing. not sure on it's condition. but it is black. It would be available if you were interested in it at a small additional cost.

The bike is completely standard and rides faultlessly. the tyres have loads of tread. I'd be inclined to suggest that they were replaced recently. but have no proof of this.

Paperwork: I have the V5 logbook and one old MOT and the current one which expires on 22nd July 2015.

I took the bike from a trader who builds custom bikes. they took it as a trade in. prior to them I don't know it's history. so feel free to do your own checks on it. They have had it since the start of the year and put about 300 miles on it and did a service. not sure if belts were included. I will check this with them.

This model wasn't made in 2010. at least not for the UK market. so it's either a late registered bike or an import. either way. it's still a 2010 bike. My caf?© racer 900ss is a 2006; which equally is newer than Ducati did them. so it seems common that many were late registered. Ducati probably built more than they originally sold!

I haven't done it myself and will make no claims to the bikes history; all I'm going on is it's condition and how she ride. which is faultless.

Cash on collection welcome. bank transfer also accepted but clear funds must show up before bike is released. No Paypal other than for a £100 deposit within 24hrs of auction ending. I'm not asking for a silly amount here. but we all know how people mess others around on ebay!
