This Ducati 999 is a 1-off custom build by Arete Americana. This is a fully custom built 1-off bike and it is being offered for the 1 and only time. This bike was built to look cool but still perform the way a Ducati SBK is meant to so weight and Quality performance parts wer as important as the looks a d style. This bike currently has 80 miles on it. The Arete 999 has a wet weight of 369 lbs. with a liter of gas. That is only 2 lbs. heavier than the dry weight of the Ducati Panigale and 101 lbs. lighter than a stock 999. The Arete 999 makes 111 hp at the rear wheel which is the same as a well tuned stock 999. however. the weight makes all the difference. There are $45. 00 in parts alone on this bike.

This bike is the best of both worlds with the chassis and geometry of a 749/999 but the lightness of an 1199 and the sound and stiffness of a GP bike with the monocoque tail and straight 57mm exhaust is crazy.
