1972 Ducati 750 GT Original condition

1972 Ducati 750GT in original. unrestored condition. I have owned this bike for 27 years and for various reasons have ridden it very little. The mileage listed is completely correct: six-thousand. eight hundred and seventy-six. It runs and rides like the day I bought it. The engine number is 750327 meaning it was actually built in 1971 and should be titled as such but was likely originally sold in 1972 and titled as that. According to published sources it is one of only about thirty of this series imported to the US. Bevel twins in this condition are getting scarce. The fiberglass tank is still solid. as are both side covers. It still has the original chain and ignition system. including points. coils. and wires. The instruments are Smiths. the carbs are Amal concentrics and the brakes are Lockheed. If it matters. it has nearly new Metzeler tires but may have both originals somewhere. It is hard to describe in words the roar that this thing makes. I started it yesterday and almost talked myself out of selling it.  Excepting a few fasteners. it is stone stock but for the following: seat has been recovered by a previous owner and is missing original air box and filter hoses. There has been a small LED added in the instrument cluster as a visual warning that the turn signals are still on. Other than these items. it is totally showroom original. Cosmetically it is just as you would expect for a Ducati of this vintage. The chrome is pitted everywhere. and the tank decals are mostly gone. The left Lafranconi muffler has burned through (see picture). The tail light lens is generally faded and is missing two reflectors. and there is a very small dent in the front fender. Basically. this bike has never been disturbed except to ride or service and is mechanically sound in every way. Payment will be cashier's check. money order or cash in person.
