1996 Ducati 900 Super Sport SP with spares...excellent original condition!

1996 Ducati 900 ss/spThanks for "stopping by" to look at my pride and joy 1996 Ducati 900. It absolutely pains me to sell this bike but as I get older I ride this bike less and less. Mature motorcycle enthusiast owned.  I have spared NO EXPENSE in maintaing this bike to beyond factory recommendations. I am fortunate to have had the pleasure to enjoy this bike over the years and it deserves to be enjoyed for all that it is and all that it isn't. The duc needs nothing but a good home and someone younger to enjoy the thrill of riding a raw no ABS no traction control just pure riding experience that I grew up with. Nice original condition Super Sports are getting harder to find and will surely be a collector bike as time goes on. You will find me as the owner of # 985 in the Ducati Super Sport registry here in Phoenix Arizona. Last service was 2-12-14 by known Ducati expert here in town with 13. 32 miles. goes to show I don't ride this bike too often. Timing belts. spark plugs. valve adjustment the full on big service was done 618 miles ago. At the same time I had the tires replaced with Michelin Powers and a RK racing gold Xring chain. I switched to a gel battery a while back and the bike is stored with a battery tender at all times. Carbon fiber dash. full owners manual. two keys. Ducati dealership shop manuals all go with the sale. The local Ducati shop closed about 7 years ago and they gave me the shop manuals. I also sourced another set of wheels and had them powder coated black. the original goldish wheels with tires and front rotors go with the sale!I usually ride with the Corbin seat I purchased. so the original seat with rear seat cowl is in like new condition. I have pictures of both seats and both seats go with the sale. I can't express enough that this bike is extremely well sorted out. it needs absolutely nothing. All spares go with the sale including the factory shop manuals. original wheels. both seats and front fender. No disappointments here. Bike fires right up every time. carburates perfect. everything works excellent. I added throttlemeister cruise control a while back that works excellent for longer rides! I have the original carbon fiber front fender. it goes with the sale. When I changed over to the black powder coated wheels I also sourced a correct front red fender. I like the way it looks but the carbon fiber fender is correct for a ss/sp. The bike is 18+ years old. There are a few extremely minor small touch-ups you would need a micro-scope to find them. Even though the bike looks like a museum piece I did ride it so. but over all the bike is in excellent condition.   Do NOT hesitate to contact me!
