1995 Ducati 900 Superlight 8807 miles London

A beautiful Ducati with 8807 miles on the clock and interesting history.  It's had one previous owner.  spent only 4 years on the road and was properly maintained by David Robinson of Wandsworth.  By the time I was looking to buy a nice Superlight - I had had a number of high powered motorbikes.  Just before this one I rode a KTM Duke. so wasn't sure what to expect from the Ducati.  The power output seemed low on the paper. but it turned out to be the best bike I've ever had by far.  This engine configuration. amazing sound and razor sharp handling just works! A bit of history:    In 2000 it was bought new by a British businessman who had found it in a window of a motorbike shop in Hong Kong. The bike then spent a couple of years in his living room before being brought to the UK in 2002.   The first MOT was done in June 2002 and the odometer reading was 13 miles!  I bought it in 2003 when it had 900 miles on the clock.  I used it for 4 years and then parked it in my heated garage.  I would start it a couple of times every month and take it for a spin around garage complex.  In the last 2 years it hasn't been started as I didn't want the old petrol going into the engine.  It will need some recommissioning before use.  It hasn't had an MOT since June 2006.  I've had it serviced by David Robinson Ducati specialist here in Wandsworth (London).  Last time it had cam belts  changed. but I would have them changed again as it's been sitting  for so long.  The clutch will need bleeding as it has lost the pressure. the tyres are relatively new Pirelli Diablos but the rear one has a big nail embedded.  It keeps the pressure.  The battery has been taken out. so I think a new one would need to be fitted.   The bike is Superlight 4 - number 564 I have now lost my garage so moved it to my friend's lockup in Streatham.   Only serious collectors please.
