1977 Ducati 500SD Desmo with 2nd parts bike and loads of spares

Up for sale is a GREAT running but rough looking 500SD as well as a 2nd 500SD frame and engine and two spare engine cases full of clutches. stators. gear. starters and cranks. The 500SD model is a very rare DESMO head version of the 500 engine with more power and reliability than the earlier parallel twins.  Aside from 50HP and relatively low weight. nbsp;they also featured a very sporting riding position with clip-ons and rear sets as stock.  Sort of a mini-sporting-DarmahThe red motorcycle shown has 150PSI in each cylinder and will start instantly and run very well.  The transmission shifts well and the front brakes work but the rear brake will need to be flushed and gone through as well as a general going over of the entire bike before it is road worthy.  It has 14. 00km or roughly 8900miles on the gauge.  It is missing its tach gauge and its seat.  the seat cover shown is not for these bikes but might be able to be modified to fit. The second 500SD with the blue tank would make a great custom or racer.  it turns over and has compression but it missing its carbs and exhausts and will need to be completely gone though.  compression is 190 and 110PSI.  electric starter worksThe spare engine cases are full of parts and look to be in decent shape and great to either part out to fund the project of keep around for spares. cranks are both free but untested. I originally bought these to make into a racer but plans have changed and I need the space.   Try finding  a 70's Ducati with a Desmo head that  doesn't cost an arm and a leg yet.  please bid or make an offer instead of asking what reserve is. The entire lot will be sold with a bill of sale only. no titles.  you will have the opportunity to go over all engine and frame numbers if you wish before any payment is made.
