Ducati 750SS IE Track Bike

Welcome to the sale of my beloved 750SS I bought this bike from Baines Racing in 2012 as a road bike and decided the track is a much safer place for a bike and its riderAt the time it had just had a full service with new belts. valve clearances and new steering head bearings. The things I have done to it since then are:Removed all the road plastics and replaced them with 748 plastics. Upgraded the original calipers to 748 ones with Z04 racing padsFitted new front discsNew stainless steel braided hoses on front. Had Baines Racing Bora silencers fitted. (they are road legal . just!) Sound awesome on full chatFitted a billet aluminium alloy filler cap and surroundCut and welded the rear sub frame for the 748 single seatHad front forks rebuilt by Maxton and modified to give better rebound responseTyres are Bridgestone Battlax BT023 120/60ZR17 front and 160/60ZR17 rear. I have used them several times and the grip is very good they have in total about 500 miles on themThe swing arm has bobbins fitted for a paddock stand and the front and rear stands come with the bike. Chain and sprockets have 1000 miles on themFitted a new battery and I have a spareThe only bad points are the seat and tank paintwork could be better had them done by a mate and not the best but it is a track bike and not a showroom poserThe best thing about it is it may only put out 80 BHP. but it on weighs 180 KG wet and the handling  is the dogs bollocks. I have had a lot of bikes over the years including 916SP and Monster S4 and you cannot beat the telepathic response of a Ducati. The confidence it gives you is fantastic and allows you to pass the 1000's through the bends and boy do they get frustrated trying to keep up!!!It has never been dropped and provided me with hours of fun and I will miss it but needs mustHas V5C  and would just need a horn for a daylight MOT.
