You're looking at my Ducati Multistrada 1000 DS. One too many bikes and moving house has tipped me over the edge. and means the bike that gets used the least has to be sadly sold. To be honest I have seen the type of Ducati Multistrada's being sold and I have to say that my bike is in very good condition considering the price I am asking. The bike has been exceptionally well maintained and is really a joy to ride and own. This bike has a wonderfully torquey engine and is simply best at just touring and exploring A and B roads. This bike come with all service manuals and literature and has a very comprehensive service history. Registration Mark: V10 MTS is not part of the sale and is valued at ??750. MTS is the designation Ducati gave it - MTS1000 and is short for Mul-Ti-Strada (get it?) If you want this plate please add ??500 to the end price. It will be kept on retention by me for my MTS1200. http://www. ducati-kaemna. com/teile-fuer-multistrada-umbau. htmlI have the above kit to convert the bike into a Supermoto if you are interested? Please review this link above. It basically turns the bike into a naked supermoto. which it is really. Its more big Supermoto then Adventure bike. It cost me 400 Euros to buy but I am not sure I want to mess about with it as its really grown on me. I am willing to sell it for ??200About the bike. Naughty BitsYes like all motorcycles the bike does have some. I am a very honest chap and want to be very open about the small issues. The idle was running a bit lumpy and stalled when cold and so I took the bike to Ducati Winchester. They ran a full diagnostic and check everything over. The bike came back with a clean bill of health and its not burning oil. leaking oil or anything untoward. The idle issue was sorted out but still stalls when cold the bike doesn't like to idle by itself unless warm. Ducati Winchester told me its character and a quirk of these older gen bikes. I am used to it now and basically start her up rev up and just ride. After a few minutes and the bike temp reads 40 its fine. Its upto you if you want to investigate or live with it. What I can say is that the bike has no fault codes and all sensors are operating in tolerance. Scuffs - yes the bike has some scuffs from being used. It has some on the offside pod where the previous owner has touch up the paint badly. Also there is a scuff on the bar end and edge of the tank. and DP seat corner where I lost my balance at the lights. I just toppled over with the bike on top of me. I wanted the ground to swallow me up as its so embarrassing doing that in Kensington. lol. Pictures should show these but please come and view the bike. There is a scuffed graze on the nearside frame slider - not from this bike. This slider is from my old Ducati 1000. which I dropped. I had the frame slider knocking about and thought I would just fit em up. I could have just removed them but I am just being honest about my used slider. Service light is on - I don't have the tool to turn the light off but I am told you can do it via a eBay cable you buy. Its never bothered me and just planned to do it sometime in the future. Warning:I have been as honest as I can possibly be. This is a fine bike and with love an attention will remain so. Its a Ducati and people seem to love it everywhere I have gone on it. This bike is being sold at an exceptionally reasonable price. The bike is sold as seen and no warranty is implied. Please do contact me to arrange a viewing if you are seriously interested. I will not give the bike away for nothing so please don't pester me for lowball offers. I'll just keep it and turn it into a Supermoto. I will seriously consider genuine near offers. this a hell of alot of bike for the money.
