2001 Ducati 996

Description

This is probably one of the cleanest 2001 Ducati 996 around.   Original 5600 miles.   It looks absolutely immaculate . show room condition.   Must see and hear the engine in person to appreciate this bad boy.   The bike has just always been pampered and has always been covered in a Ducati OEM soft fabric cover in my garage (will be included with the sale).   This bike has some tasteful upgrades

1)      Bucci Slipper Clutch

2)      Cyclecat reverse gear rear set

3)      Evolution Steering Damper

4)      Terminigoni carbon exhaust

5)      Carbon fiber front and rear fender

6)      Carbon fiber chain guard and V-panel fairing

7)       New battery

 

This bike has never been down. until recently.   I rolled it out of my garage to take pictures of the bike.  I forgot to turn the front wheel and somehow it tipped over while standing still.  I watched it fell in slow motion. . Anyway. the only damage was the right break lever.  right foot peg is slightly bent. some scratch on the lower part of the fairing. and bar end.  I replaced the break lever. and bar end. Painted the bottom fairing.  I did not replace the right peg because it actually still works well and just minor scratch with a slight bent on the aluminum. If you are interested. i can send you more detail pics. I was not able to find the replacement part to make it perfect. But honestly speaking it still performs well unless you are talking about a perfect 10 bike. On a scale 1 to 10. I would rate it 8/10. It is super clean. I just don't ride enough.  NO oil leaks anywhere. absolutely nothing wrong with it. just finally decided to give up riding.  Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you
