2006 Ducati Monster S2R 1000 Fully Built Big Bore 1123cc

This is a 2006 Ducati Monster S2R1000/1123cc big bore L-twin

Built and tuned by Frank Shockley of Fast Frank Racing. LLC in Greenville. N. C. . who also put the first 2. 00 miles on the new build. Signed and dated build certificate and clean title on hand.

This instrument cluster was replaced during the build with a Magnetti Marelli cluster. which reads 9. 50. but the actual mileage post-build is approximately 3. 00.    

This bike is truly a MONSTER!!!!   Frank Shockley built the bike late 2011. eary 2012. sparing no expenses. using the highest quality performance parts available. and in his words. ?ˆ?it is the fastest one I have built yet. it made 107 RWHP on a Dynojet 250i Dyno on pump gas. ?ˆ? It is easily capable of 120+ with more tuning and/or different fuels.

I have owned many custom sportbikes. and three Ducati motorcycles. including a 1098s. and this Monster is frightening to ride ?ˆ“ scary quick. It has face melting torque. and incredible power for an air-cooled L-twin. And it maintains a unique balance of modern and aggressive. yet still harkens back to the early caf?© racer bikes with the naked look and raw power.

I must emphasize this is absolutely NOT a beginner bike!! Having prior experience with high-end sport bikes. especially Ducatis. is a bonus.  Due to the higher compression. high performance cams and engine internals. it starts a little rougher than most Ducatis. and has a rough idle for a minute until it warms up. but once you?ˆ™re riding. it?ˆ™s euphoric?ˆ¦ an experience like no other.

I just don't have time to enjoy this bike. and it needs to be ridden more. But if you are a collector. this will also make one incredible addition to your arsenal. Not another one like it in the world. If you look up some of the aftermarket parts. you will know how expensive this bike was to build - Incredible machine - I am happy to talk on the phone or via text with serious potential buyers.
