I purchased this Mike Hailwood Evoluzione replica a number of years ago to display in my Ducati collection. It is a beautiful example with low mileage. It has never been tracked or been in an accident. There have been a few natural modifications which have improved the handling and safety. I am reluctantly selling due to age. mine and not the Ducati's. The Mike Hailwood has been the centerpiece of my collection along with a Paul Smart Ducati which I am also selling. It is as rare a Ducati as you can find. I have. and it goes with the sale. the original Ducati plaque which states that this was #1463 out of a total production run of 2000. Very few came to the United States. When the new battery was installed last week the dash lights cam on and will not turn off. I am reluctant to take the dash apart due to its originality. The new owner will have to sort it out. Note that I never registered the Ducati as it was only for display. You will receive a notarized bill of sale from me along with a clear California title from the original owner and a bill of sale from them. When you register the Ducati. you will officially be the second owner. If this is a problem for you. DO NOT BID. Please have your $$$ ready as I will require a wire transfer to my bank account on the next business day for the balance of the funds owed to me. No exceptions. I have a buy it now price for those true collectors who can't pass up this opportunity. however. my reserve is a reasonable amount. The Ducati is in Connecticut and I can store it for you for up to 30 days after payment is made.
