Ducati Monster S2R 800cc

Here is 2005 Ducati Monster S2R 800cc that I would say is in average condition except for the mark on the fuel tank as shown in the pictures. If you know the S2R you will know it should have a bikini front fairing and a passenger seat cowl. I have both of these to go with the bike but i took them off because the paint again was marked and the screen is cloudy. The rear seat cowl has a tiny crack on the edge as you can see in the pictures. You will also see that there is another tank which is good condition which I will include if the full asking price is met. Like most Ducati air cooled engines of this period there is some engine paint flaking off. It is fitted with a three spoke front wheel instead of the normal five spoke. which i prefer to be honest. I've got a black key that fits the ignition and a red key that fits the fuel tank and seatIt does have a running fault which only shows up after it is warm and done a few miles. I can ride it normally for approx 20 miles with no fault but once I have been through a town and its got hot it starts to surge at 6000 rpm if you accelerate hard. if you back off and are more gentle it appears to be okIts recently had new oil and filter and new spark plugs. To pass the MOT it had new fork seals and new rear brake pads. I've priced this bearing in mind that a really good one will fetch about £4000I may be able to arrange delivery within about 100 miles as long as i have the money. as I don't want a wasted journey. I'm sure you understand. No test rides unless I have the asking price in my hand£100 via paypal to secure the deal and then the rest in cash on collection unless its a delivery as stated above.
