Ducati supersport

Ducati 600 Super sport 1994I bought this bike last year off the previous owner who had not used it and had only stored it in his garage since 1999. Up to that point it had a full service history with the last one showing mileage of 16309. It now has 18650. The bike came with loads of receipts for work carried out prior to 1999 for bits and bobs servicing etc. When i bought the bike i had to do a few jobs ready for the MOT. Inc new battery. fork seals. fuel pump. cam belts. oil and filters. and tyres. All jobs you would associate with a bike being unused for 14 years. The bike is a good runner and starts on the button every time. and is taxed and MOT'd until April. The bike is datatag. I have the paperwork for this and in 1999 it was £10 to transfer to the new owner. But i do not know how much this would be now.  And now i am afraid for the bad points:Big scratch on the tank as shown in the picture. The tank latch is broken. the front brake stop light only works when it wants to. The battery light has come on and the battery is no longer getting charged. it may need a new reg rectifier i am not sure. At some point in the bikes life it has had the dreaded Ducati problems with wiring. as parts of the loom have been taped up. This may be the problem with the battery i am unsure.  Unfortunately as the bike needs the battery to run only short distances can be run  before the battery runs flat. approx 15 - 20 miles would be safe. Any further i don't know. The wiring is beyond meCash on collection. You must make contact within 24 hours of auction ending or the bike will re listed. If you are not going to complete the purchase then please do not bid. I have fallen victim to this many times and it is very annoying for myself and other genuine buyers. Ebay will be notified.
